By controlling these screens, a higher flue gas flow rate can be circulated because more negative pressure can be created behind the screens.
A low speed is needed to operate the screens very accurately since abrupt movements can affect the process, which is why the winch is equipped with a grooved drum with a pressure roller. There is also an encoder on this winch that ensures that the operator is aware of the position of the screens.
