The Netherlands is currently undergoing active development of remote-controlled bridges and locks. To ensure the proper functioning of the entire system, it is essential to have effective remote viewing capabilities of these bridges and locks.

Consequently, various camera-mounted towers will be installed alongside the relevant structures. However, these cameras require regular maintenance and cleaning.
To address this need, we have partnered with Valmont, a tower manufacturer, to create a camera winch system that facilitates the raising and lowering of the cameras.
The design of the winch system prioritizes quick and effortless installation and removal from the tower, allowing it to be utilized across multiple camera towers. Additionally, the winch is equipped with a manual control system that enables controlled locking and unlocking of the camera at the top of the tower. For rapid descent of the camera, a drilling machine can be utilized. To ensure safety, the winch is fitted with an additional time delay gearbox featuring a slipper clutch. As a result, the camera can be lowered or raised by approximately 25 meters in about three minutes.
