French Fries Packaging

The process of packaging french fries involves lifting “form parts” to the appropriate height. These form parts, which weigh approximately 20kg, are changed regularly depending on the bag size or diameter of the product being packaged. They need to be placed about 2.00 meters hight in the packaging machine. Previously, this required two workers to lift the form parts above their heads over a conveyor belt—a process that was not only labor-intensive but also posed safety risks.

By using our light weight manual winch, the process has been significantly improved. Workers can now conveniently place the form parts in the lift at a manageable height. Using our TL150 winch, the lift then raises the form parts to the required height and places them in the hinged bracket. From there, the form parts are rotated into the machine. The lift carries two form parts at a time, approximately 40kg in total.
